Project Overview
This project is about a creation that expresses my position & sparks debate on an issue of social concern that I care about. I focused on the social issue that I concerned and also experienced as part of an Asian during the covid 19. Through this project I will tackle the problematic situation during the Covid 19. Especially, it twists the 'Asian Hates and Racism'. There is no client and no user, no expectation to follow any user- centered design methodology or to document my process in any conventional way. This pack is aiming the people to look back at the pandemic era life. Also, they put this sticker on the product they use everyday as the memorial that we had endured prevailing hatred.

Why Covid-19?
The story started when I entered the university, the Covid-19 just came up in 2020. I clearly remembered my life in the Netherlands turning into a nightmare. I trembled with fear when I walked outside. Nobody wore a mask, but I wore the mask. At the beginning of the pandemic, many European did not tend to wear a mask, so people who wore masks were misunderstood as having a virus by contrast.
I organized my idea enough as subject to drag people's attention and fit to play a critical role in people to debate. We all use the Kinopio tool for sharing the students idea and feedback between students and professor. We actively shared the ideas each other, and it helped solidifying the subject before starting the project.

Moodboard
I came up with some ideas in my mind. The first idea was to use the emoji vibe sticker pack with a Blue medical facial mask because it seems more medical and serious, and the sticker pack's package is within a clear zipper pack for a collected feel like Biomedical waste with Biohazard Symbol.

Research Phase
Firstly, I started researching the subject that I chose to work on. This idea requires many of News or people's opinions suffering from the same problem. I am also part of the people having the same issue. I wrote down my experience first, and looked into Reddit community. Gathering bunch of news and memes that twisted the situation in a caricatured way.

Idea sketch
I worked on the first idea sketch before making a sticker.
I considered which emoji face fits on this sticker pack and among two emoji faces. First one is concerning face, and the other is just blank face without emotion. But wearing a mask on the emoji face, it seems clear what I choose face for the sticker.
The one with the blank face seems like an emoji that reminds 'Refusal'. So final sketch is with concerning emoji face with the blue medical mask.

Final
I used Adobe Photoshop for the sticker pack design.
The sticker design is used for Phone case as well.
Final product is series with the sticker pack and phone case.
